The numerous pleas by those affected by the deplorable condition of road leading to Bakun seems to be fallen on deaf ear.
The federal government has not yet announce any plan to repair the road nor the logging companies.
The road is extremely dangerous for small vehicles like motorcycle and Kancil car especially during the night.
"We've been pleading to the federal government to repair the road as it becoming worst. Potholes are everywhere," said an anonymous resident from Sungai Koyan resettlement area.
There also been reports of fatal traffic accidents along the road.
